Using a twin-clutch rear drive unit (similar to what’s found on the Bronco Sport), the Lobo is engineered to improve grip, stability, and cornering performance. The system continuously shifts torque between the rear wheels based on the driving situation.
 
When turning a corner, torque is directed to the outer rear wheel to enhance cornering performance. When accelerating out of a bend, torque shifts to the outer wheel to minimize understeer, ensuring greater stability and a smoother driving experience. This technology, combined with larger dual-piston brakes, allows the Maverick Lobo to offer precise handling and braking performance, making it perform a step above a traditional truck.
