Routine Oil Changes are one of the most important things we can do to protect and prolong the life of a vehicle and maintain its warranty.

Oiling the engine is a crucial part in ensuring that it runs smoothly. Engine oil performs five different functions within your car, but its most important task - lubricating – happens to be what keeps everything moving around and makes for an efficient ride. Engine oil has a limited amount of time before it becomes less effective at removing contaminants and protecting the motor which is why it needs to be changed.

The Mobil1 Difference

Most manufacturers develop transmission fluids to meet exact needs that will be compatible with the internal components of a transmission – like fiber clutch plates, discs and bands. Using the incorrect type of fluid can make your transmission slip and even fail. (And you don’t want to find out the wrong fluid was installed – just when it matters most.)
Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, Volvo, Honda, and Toyota are just a few companies with very specific requirements – and some only available from the dealer. Avoid issues. Have your transmission serviced at a proper facility, like a franchised dealer with competitive prices or a transmission centre that regularly does this kind of maintenance.

Most quick lube locations across the country do not have the correct fluids and instead will install an additive to the fluid, which they claim is a ‘factory specific additive’ ...THERE IS NO SUCH THING.

Also, most quick lube locations do not have the proper flush equipment. (eg/Ford vehicles need a special pump attached to the flush machine to make it able to push the fluid past a check valve. If you don't have this pump, you cannot exchange the fluid.)
